Who We Are
The store called Mirror Place, a division
of L & K Practical Solutions, Inc., was conceived in 1999 by Lee and Kay
Rousselle when Kay found she could no longer see clearly to do her own
make up in a regular mirror. Without her glasses, she couldn't see what she was doing, and
with her glasses, she couldn't do what she was seeing.
Kay realized she was not alone.
Research in the eye care industry shows that by the time we reach 40 years
of age, 60% of us will develop a visual handicap. That percentage increases to
90% by the time we reach 60 years of age. It's a fact of life.
With that in mind, the search began to find
a magnifying mirror that could be used to see clearly without glasses or
contacts, no matter what prescription was needed. It also had to be made
with high quality materials and workmanship.
Lee and Kay are partners in and out of business. They know the meaning of the "golden rule" and believe that is the key to a successful venture. For them the customer comes first! With optically
correct magnifying mirrors,
they have been able to help people who wear glasses or contacts to see better than they ever thought possible.
